Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: November 01, 2026]
Welcome to My Tow Behind. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the MyTowBehind.com website and, where applicable, your purchase of products and services offered by My Tow Behind (“MTB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms & Conditions. Additional terms may apply to specific products, custom projects, quotations, and purchase agreements.
Please review these terms carefully. If you do not agree with the terms governing your use of the website, please discontinue use of the site.
1. Prices and Quotations
Product prices, specifications, availability, and promotional offers are subject to change without notice unless otherwise specified in a confirmed quotation or purchase agreement.
Prices quoted by MTB will identify the applicable currency and any included or excluded charges where relevant. Taxes, shipping, handling, installation, and other additional costs may apply depending on the product and delivery destination.
Unless otherwise stated, quotations are subject to the validity period and conditions specified in the quotation. An order is considered accepted when confirmed by MTB in writing or as otherwise specified in the applicable purchase agreement.
International Orders and Currency.
For purchases involving international transactions, exchange rates and fees charged by financial institutions, payment providers, or currency conversion services may affect the final amount charged to the customer.
MTB cannot control exchange-rate fluctuations or third-party transaction fees. Customers are responsible for confirming any applicable charges with their financial institution or payment provider.
Import duties, customs fees, brokerage charges, taxes, and other border-related costs may apply to international shipments. Unless expressly included in the quotation or agreed upon in writing, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.
2. Payment Terms
Accepted payment methods, deposits, balances, and payment deadlines will be communicated during the quotation or ordering process.
Certain products, custom builds, or made-to-order trailers may require a deposit before manufacturing begins. Any required deposit, payment schedule, and applicable cancellation conditions will be specified in the quotation or purchase agreement.
Orders paid by cheque or other payment methods requiring clearance may not be released for shipment until the funds have cleared. Customers are responsible for ensuring that payments are made in accordance with the agreed terms.
3. Custom Engineering and Made-to-Order Trailers
MTB may offer customized trailer configurations, dimensions, features, finishes, and other specifications, subject to technical feasibility and written agreement.
Custom requirements should be clearly documented and approved before manufacturing begins. Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of their requested specifications, measurements, drawings, and other order details.
Changes requested after approval may affect pricing, manufacturing schedules, and delivery dates. Additional charges or revised timelines may apply, and any changes must be agreed upon by MTB and the customer.
Custom products may have different cancellation, return, and refund conditions from standard products. Any applicable conditions will be communicated before the order is finalized, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
4. Factory Pickup
Where factory pickup is offered, the pickup location, appointment arrangements, availability, and any applicable installation services will be confirmed directly by MTB.
Customers must arrange pickup in advance and ensure that their vehicle, towing equipment, and transportation arrangements are appropriate for the trailer being collected.
Any pickup or installation instructions provided by MTB should be followed. Customers are responsible for complying with applicable towing, registration, loading, and road-safety requirements.
5. Shipping and Delivery
MTB may offer delivery to a customer's residence, business, dealership, freight terminal, or another agreed-upon destination, subject to availability and the shipping arrangements for the order.
Shipping costs depend on factors such as the trailer's dimensions, weight, destination, delivery method, and any special handling or access requirements.
Residential deliveries may incur additional charges or require special arrangements because of vehicle-access restrictions, unloading requirements, or carrier limitations.
Where terminal pickup is available, customers may be able to collect their shipment from a designated freight terminal. Delivery options and costs will be confirmed before the order is finalized.
Estimated shipping and delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed upon in writing. Delays may occur because of carrier schedules, weather, customs processing, or other circumstances outside MTB's reasonable control.
6. International and Freight-Terminal Shipments
International shipments may be subject to the receiving country's import regulations, customs clearance procedures, duties, taxes, and other applicable charges.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer or designated consignee is responsible for arranging customs clearance and paying applicable import charges.
The shipping provider may contact the consignee when a shipment arrives at its destination. Customers should ensure their contact information is accurate and respond promptly to delivery or customs notifications.
Any special airport, seaport, or international freight arrangements must be confirmed in the applicable quotation. Such arrangements may involve additional transportation, handling, storage, brokerage, or customs-clearance costs.
7. Receiving and Inspecting Your Shipment
Customers should inspect their trailer or shipment promptly upon delivery or collection.
Where practical, inspect the packaging and visible condition of the shipment before signing the carrier's delivery documents. Any visible damage, missing components, or discrepancies should be documented and reported to the carrier and MTB as soon as possible.
Customers should retain photographs, delivery records, and other relevant documentation when reporting damage or shortages.
Signing a delivery receipt does not waive any rights or remedies available under applicable law or any applicable warranty or purchase agreement.
8. Colours, Finishes, and Product Appearance
MTB will make reasonable efforts to represent product colours, finishes, materials, and appearance accurately in its website images, product descriptions, samples, and quotations.
Actual colours and finishes may vary because of screen settings, lighting, material variations, manufacturing processes, or differences between production batches.
Where custom colours or finishes are offered, availability, compatibility, additional costs, and any limitations will be confirmed before the order is finalized.
Unless a precise match is expressly agreed upon in writing, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.
9. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Return eligibility, cancellation rights, and refund conditions depend on the product purchased, the stage of order processing or manufacturing, the applicable purchase agreement, and relevant consumer protection laws.
Standard products and custom-built or made-to-order products may be subject to different conditions. Any applicable restocking fees, non-refundable costs, cancellation charges, return shipping costs, or other restrictions must be communicated before the customer commits to the order, where required by law.
Customers should contact MTB before returning any product to obtain return instructions and confirmation of eligibility.
Shipping and other third-party charges may not be recoverable once incurred. Any deductions from a refund must be consistent with the applicable agreement and governing law.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any refund, cancellation, warranty, or other right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Note: MTB's final return, cancellation, and refund policy should be published here once approved.
10. Product Information and Specifications
MTB strives to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, features, and technical information.
Specifications and product designs may be updated as part of ongoing engineering, manufacturing, or product development. Where a change materially affects a confirmed order, the applicable quotation or purchase agreement will govern, subject to applicable law.
Customers should confirm important requirements, including dimensions, load capacities, intended applications, towing compatibility, and other technical specifications, before placing an order.
Customers must use and maintain trailers in accordance with the applicable instructions, ratings, safety requirements, and laws.
11. Warranties
Any manufacturer's warranty or other product warranty applicable to a trailer or accessory will be provided or identified in the applicable warranty documentation or purchase agreement.
Warranty coverage may be subject to specific terms, conditions, exclusions, maintenance requirements, and claim procedures.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any warranty or consumer right that is mandatory under applicable law.
Customers should contact MTB for information about the warranty applicable to a specific product or order.
